How does it work?

Over the last eight years I have created the perfect client process.

In fact, it’s the stuff of legends. Well not quite - but I have taught countless others how to use the same process too!

My superpower is making complicated things simple. This means that I can take your business, your ideas, values, feelings and emotions and turn it into something visual that perfectly fits where you see you and your brand.

We start with some serious foundations, brand strategy broken down into steps that guide you and then move on to the visuals.

So let’s dive into the process….

The Process


1. First things first: we agree what I’m going to do.

My quote and contract are all in plain language (no technical terms or legalese) - this means you know exactly what you’re getting!

2. You pay a deposit.

Depending on the project and timescale this will be 50% or 30%. This means I’ve set aside time for you in my diary, and can get to work creating your perfect process.

3. I create a shared Trello board and pinterest board for us.

I don’t know about you - but my email inbox is the place that things go to die, so our whole project is managed via Trello. Don’t panic - not only is it insanely simple to use, I also give you full directions on how to use it.

I’ve used this process and a shared Trello board with over 300 clients (including some very reluctant ones) and almost all of them tell me how much they loved it at the end.

4. It’s over to you for a bit.

You’ll answer some questions about you and your brand and get pinning on our shared board. You’ll get full instructions on how to do each of these steps to get the best results.

We start with brand strategy. Getting to know you, your brand values, positioning, voice, mission statement and overall identity. Using a simple process that takes away all the jargon and acronyms and agency/corporate speak, and guides you through understanding your brand in detail.

And then we move on to the visuals. A pinterest board / vision board / place for you to show me visually all of the things that evoke the emotions you want your brand to create.

5. It’s over to me!

This is where I get creative. You’ll get a moodboard to approve and then two concepts to work from. We then take one of these concepts forwards and create all of your new brand assets.
